4 Design Days 2019
On January 24-27, 2019, 25,000 people met in Katowice. residents of the region, guests from home and abroad, as well as over 10,000 business guests – architects, designers, business representatives and local authorities. For all design enthusiasts, sessions with experts, television stars, workshops and thematic exhibitions have been prepared, and at 13 thousand. m2 of exhibition space, you could visit the stands of over 300 exhibitors.
The first two days of 4 Design Days 2019 (24-25 January this year) were a meeting of professionals who debated trends in modern architecture, design and the real estate market. Approximately 500 speakers took part in 50 thematic sessions. Among them were also representatives of the Elita company.
Marcin Dymarski, general director, vice president of the board of Elita sp.z o.o., took part in the session: „Polish furniture brand – opportunity or myth?” During which min. about whether it is possible to create a recognizable brand of Polish furniture.
Tomasz Pietrzak, director of business development at Elita sp.z o.o., during the panel „Bathroom design | presentations and discussion, ”he talked about how to shape the offer to reflect changing thinking about living space.
On January 26-27 this year participants of the 4 Design Days 2019 open days took part in lectures, workshops and meetings with television stars and designers, which were led by, among others: Artur Indyka, Jimi Ogden, Tomasz Pągowski, Darek Stolarz and Zbigniew Urbański. Among the famous architects and recognized critics, the condition of Polish and global design as well as interior design passions and preferences were discussed.
The 4 Design Days 2019 fair offered a wide audience numerous exhibitions and presentations, including: „Design is for you” – an exhibition of graduates and students of the Design Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, „Degrees of design” – an exhibition prepared by the Ceramics and Glass Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław and the exhibition „Architecture of the Year of the Silesian Voivodeship” – presenting outstanding projects of Silesian architects on a national scale.
Visitors to Spodek and the International Congress Center in Katowice were also offered free advice from interior designers and thematic workshops on the housing needs of modern families.
As part of the 4 Design Days 2019, the SILESIA BAZAAR Dizajn independent Polish design fair was also held.
